Oh my gosh! My windows look sooooo awesome in the cabin! We got up to our cabin on Monday night and Tuesday morning I started on the cornice boxes. I had such a great time working on them while I was here. I figured out that it took me about 2 hours for each one. Maybe a little less, but it was worth it! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All my friends said how impressed they were with the way they looked and one friend who was up here for New Years said that he thought I had a company install them for me! WOW, what a compliment. I was totally impressed about the directions, the fact that the hardware was with the box, and the handy tips. Oh, so now I have to place another order for over my sliding door upstairs (for some reason I never thought of covering that until I was here) and my husband likes the look of the upstairs Cornices that he wants me to order more for downstairs in the billard room. I agree. I can't wait to go tomorrow and pick out more material!

I am quite pleased with the finished product.  I continuously get compliments on it and tell them about your website.  I failed to mention that I had enough fabric left over to make the table runner to match which is also shown in the picture.  I lined the back side of the table runner with plain beige cotton fabric and trimmed the ends of the table runner with gold tassles linked together that you buy by the yard…I must say it looks impressive.

We received the DIY Cornice Friday the 14th and put it together that afternoon.  We allowed it the dry overnight.  On Saturday the 15th we installed the batting and fabric and completed the job by noontime.  Sending a couple of pictures of the cornice which is 156" by 16".  Would recommend to everyone that wants to build their own cornice to use DIY as it is so easy and turns out beautifully.

I was so glad to find you on the web.  We are remodeling, and I had priced cornice boxes through Calico Corners.... room in Miami Dolphins and my fabric I put on my cornice was a printed Miami Dolphins, it turned out beautiful.... it was fairly simple to do, I cannot

When I first started to look into this project (several years ago), I was so taken aback with the expense of having the cornices done professionally and couldn't justify the cost.  It was truly outrageous.  I had given some thought to making the cornices but I knew the weight would be a problem and would be difficult to install.  Being as stubborn as I am, I decided if I couldn't have what I wanted I would just do without.  Well, many years later I found your website and I was ecstatic. 
The kits are everything you said they would be.  EASY, EASY, EASY to assemble!!  I don't think it's possible to mess up this cornice unless one miss-measures the length.  The design is brilliant and so lightweight.  They are now covered and look fantastic.  I finally have the "WOW" factor in sight.  Once I found you, this project was a walk in the park.  The finished product was certainly worth the wait.
